I just read this on another site. To be honest it's really upset me. It looks like there is a very good reason to find him a very credible suspect. German police are not going to be seizing evidence and running an investigation on s whim. But they also say they are running a murder investigation. And she wasn't yet four, and had a happy life, was on s holiday she had been excitedly telling her nursery about, was a little lobster on holiday-the little group of toddlers who walked along together holding a rope to keep them together, she was so loved and an important part of a big extended family. And now police think a grown man might have taken her from her bed where she was sleeping snugly and killed her. I know it was unlikely but I always wanted to believe that someone had taken in a panic because they thought they had hurt her or because they desperately wanted a child to parent and she was fine so someone took her to msderia where she grew up happy and loved. There is some deep evil in the world.

"Following the ten-year anniversary, the Met received information about a German man who was known to have been in and around Praia da Luz. We have been working with colleagues in Germany and Portugal and this man is a suspect in Madeleine's disappearance," Detective Chief Inspector Mark Cranwell said in a statement Wednesday.
The police also revealed details of two cars linked to the suspect around the time of Madeleine McCann's disappearance.
"The first vehicle is a distinctive VW T3 Westfalia campervan. It is an early 1980s model, with two tone markings, a white upper body and a yellow skirting. It had a Portuguese registration plate," the statement said.
"The suspect had access to this van from at least April 2007 until sometime after May 2007. It was used in and around the area of Praia da Luz."
"The second vehicle is a 1993 British Jaguar, model XJR 6, with a German number plate and registered in Germany," the statemnt adds
"This car is believed to have been in the Praia da Luz and surrounding areas in 2006 and 2007. The car was originally registered in the suspect's name. On 4 May 2007, the day after Madeleine's disappearance, the car was re-registered to someone else in Germany."

It sounds like there's been a huge joint operation going on over the past three years. It all makes sense now why the home office kept giving operation Grange more funding.
From the sounds of it the answer was in the files all along from witness statements and after the Madeleine ten year anniversary programme and appeal witnesses came forward.

A bit more info, apparently.

The officers are appealing to anyone who recognises two phone numbers, or who may have them in their address book. One is +351912730680 (which they believe belonged to the suspect and who was around PdL that evening). The other is +351916510683 and that number called the first number (suspect's) from 19:32 to 20:02. The caller wasn't in the area.

Yes, it sounds like this guy is the final lead that they'd mentioned.

There are very few people who could abuse a child, yet there was one who was also a burglar of holiday flats right in the vicinity when someone intruded into a holiday flat and took a child. German police are taking it very seriously. And I seem to recall amarel last year giving an interview where he discussed a German suspect and instead of dismissing it started to say the German suspect did share so e physical traits with Gerry McCann. Which sounds like a massive reverse ferret and trying to cover his back by claiming it's all the fault of the witnesses mistaking the German for Gerry McCann.

It upset me too scooby. Trying not to think about what Madeleine may have gone through. The McCann's must be in a terrible state and my thoughts are with them. :s_cry

PJ
The Judiciary Police confirms that, as part of the investigation into the disappearance of an English child, which took place in the Algarve in 2007, measures are still being taken to fully clarify the situation.

In close coordination with the German (BKA) and English (Metropolitan Police) authorities, in sharing information, carrying out formal investigative and expert acts, in Portugal and abroad, elements were collected that indicate the possible intervention, in the disappearance of the child, from a German citizen.

The suspect in question, 43, with a criminal record, resided in Portugal between 1996 and 2007 and is currently serving a prison sentence in Germany.

The family of the missing child was informed of these investigative developments by the English authorities.

The investigation continues.

If it turns out it was him who had previously been breaking in and attacking children on holiday then I hope every single individual who lobbied for the attacks is named publicly. They aided and abetted a p.a.e.dophile intentionally.

Why you can trust Sky News
Madeleine McCann's family believe the police announcement of a new suspect is "potentially very significant".

A spokesman for the family added that her parents Kate and Gerry McCann have never given up hope she may be found alive but they are "realistic".

Madeleine disappeared from her bedroom on 3 May 2007 during a family holiday in the Algarve, Portugal, while her parents were dining with friends nearby in the resort of Praia da Luz.

British and German police appealed for information on Wednesday about a convicted German p.a.e.dophile currently serving time in prison in his home country for sexual offences.

Clarence Mitchell, a spokesman for the family, told BBC radio: "Kate and Gerry do feel it's potentially very significant."

The 43-year-old suspect, who has not been named, is described as white with short blond hair and about 6ft tall with a slim build when Madeleine vanished shortly before her fourth birthday.

Police are also appealing for information about the movements of two vehicles linked to the suspect during the period around the girl's disappearance.

Both cars, a Volkswagen camper van and a Jaguar, are now in the possession of German police.

German police said the new suspect live in the Algarve between 1995 and 2007.

They added he lived in a house near Praia da Luz for several years and burgled hotels and holiday flats as well as trading drugs.

German police said the man has been "sentenced on numerous occasions to prison terms for sexual abuse of children in the past."

They said they were treating the case as a suspected murder and had determined the method used to kill Madeleine.

They did not believe the murder was premeditated and said the man was involved in crimes like break-ins and burglary.

And he came to police attention as a suspect in 2007 according to amarel, king of reverse ferret. But he dismissed the drug dealing rapist who broke into holiday homes who matched a witness description and whose car has apparently evidence connecting him to the crime in it. I stead he focused on the parents with alibi and history of abuse and decided it was a co piracy involving the McCann's, their friends, their friends friends, their friends friends mother, the security forces, Scotland yard, Tony Blair's government, Gordon brown's government, David Cameron's government, and possibly Theresa May's government. And his fans also concocted theories involving child doubles, conspiring nannies, random medical staff who happened to walk by. In fact anybody other than the German p.a.e.dophile, rapist burglar who looked like the guy lurking near by speaking German.

The British police, together with the German police, launched this Wednesday a new public appeal for information about a German man, suspected of involvement in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in Portugal in 2007.

The whereabouts of the child, who may be alive, are not yet known. Maddie will now be 17 years old.
Christian Brueckner, the 43-year-old man currently serving a prison sentence in Germany, reportedly lived in the Algarve for periods between 1995 and 2007 and telephone records put him in the Praia da Luz area on the day the English child disappeared.

The Metropolitan Police, which is investigating the disappearance in an investigation called Operation Grange, identified a white Volkswagen branded van that the suspect used to live in and also a Jaguar car that he would have access to.

The police also identified two mobile phone numbers, one used by the suspect and who received a call between 7:32 pm and 8:02 pm on May 3 in Praia da Luz, and another who initiated the call and who could be a "highly significant witness" ".

The Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) police will also issue a public appeal on the ZDF television station. Metropolitan Police Deputy Deputy Commissioner Stuart Cundy said today that the suspect became of interest to investigators following a public appeal in 2017, as part of the 10th anniversary of the disappearance. "The name of this man was known from our investigation. I will not give details about how he was known, but he was already known before we received new information in 2017. Since then we have continued to work very closely with colleagues in Portugal and Germany" , he stated.

This man is the current line of investigation by the British police, which came to identify 600 "people of interest" and four other suspects, who were discarded after being interrogated searches carried out on land in Portugal.

"We have good relations with colleagues in both countries. And I know that we are all determined to know what happened and to see if this man was involved in Madeleine's disappearance or not", "he said. Madeleine McCann disappeared a few days before making 4 years old, on May 3, 2007, from the room where she slept together with her two younger brothers, in an apartment in a tourist village, in Praia da Luz, in the Algarve.

British police first formed a team in 2011 to review all available information, opening a formal inquiry the following year, having so far spent close to £ 12 million (€ 14 million).

in my opinion, this brueckner wants protagonism.

This man bragged in a German bar that he knew what happened to Madeleine.

He then showed an acquaintance a video of him raping a woman.

The guy dobbed him in.

What isnt clear is if this video was of the appalling, brutal rape and robbery of a 70 year old American in PDL 18 months prior to MMs disappearance.

For which he was convicted last year.

If it was, this 'snitch' may have helped solve two terrible crimes.
Scotland Yard detectives believe Madeleine was abducted in "a criminal act by a stranger"
